The sustainable Greenflex Desert Boot by Astorflex is designed and developed to be comfortable, flexible and soft. A shoe that quickly adapts to the wearer's feet. Welted, durable and repairable. Astorflex uses only vegetable-tanned Italian leather and water-based adhesives.

Astorflex was founded at the beginning of the 19th century by the ancestors of Fabio Travenzoli. Today, he personally oversees the production and the responsible, transparent approach to the development and production of shoes according to the "Ideal" method (Outer Nath along the edge of the sole) The family business still produces the typical shoes with rubber soles in Tuscany. The lining and insoles are made of vegetable-tanned calfskin, obtained by soaking the leather in a mixture of water and powdered oak bark and mimosa, without using any dyes or colour additives.
This process is more beneficial to health, making the leather hypoallergenic and ensuring better sweat absorption for dry, odour-free feet. "Most of our soles are made of natural rubber, which is the coagulated latex of the rubber tree (Hevea brasilianis)."
The different parts of the shoe are joined together with water-based adhesives.
