The Bitflex from Astorflex is a Chelsea boot made from suede leather and a sole made from 100% natural rubber. It all starts with high-quality European leather, which is matured for several weeks in a natural mixture of water, oak bark and mimosa powder, until it is then softened with natural ingredients to create a supple and environmentally friendly suede. The boot is equipped with a sole made of 100% natural rubber, which offers a very high-quality wearing comfort. For six generations, the Travenzoli family has been making boots in northern Italy, which are produced in an environmentally friendly and resource-saving way.

Astorflex was founded at the beginning of the 19th century by the ancestors of Fabio Travenzoli. Today, he personally oversees the production and the responsible, transparent approach to the development and production of shoes according to the "Ideal" method (Outer Nath along the edge of the sole) The family business still produces the typical shoes with rubber soles in Tuscany. The lining and insoles are made of vegetable-tanned calfskin, obtained by soaking the leather in a mixture of water and powdered oak bark and mimosa, without using any dyes or colour additives.
This process is more beneficial to health, making the leather hypoallergenic and ensuring better sweat absorption for dry, odour-free feet. "Most of our soles are made of natural rubber, which is the coagulated latex of the rubber tree (Hevea brasilianis)."
The different parts of the shoe are joined together with water-based adhesives.
