The Italian shoe manufacturer Astorflex brings the traditional hiking boot back into the men's wardrobe with the Rockflex. This model was made with high-quality craftsmanship and is ideally suited for hiking off the beaten track and simple mountain terrain. In addition, the boot can also be worn in everyday life - simply combined with cool jeans and a jumper. The suede leather can be cleaned with a rubber or brass brush against dirt. For six generations, the Travenzoli family has been making boots in northern Italy, which are produced in an environmentally friendly and resource-saving way.

Astorflex was founded at the beginning of the 19th century by the ancestors of Fabio Travenzoli. Today, he personally oversees the production and the responsible, transparent approach to the development and production of shoes according to the "Ideal" method (Outer Nath along the edge of the sole) The family business still produces the typical shoes with rubber soles in Tuscany. "For the upper shoe we use Italian leather, especially leather from master tanneries in Tuscany."

The lining and insoles are made of vegetable-tanned calfskin, obtained by soaking the leather in a mixture of water and powdered oak bark and mimosa, without using any dyes or colour additives.
This process is more beneficial to health, making the leather hypoallergenic and ensuring better sweat absorption for dry, odour-free feet. "Most of our soles are made of natural rubber, which is the coagulated latex of the rubber tree (Hevea brasilianis)."
The different parts of the shoe are joined together with water-based adhesives.
