Aged-Look
Aged-look (also used-look) describes an artificial aging of fabrics and garments, which is produced by after-treatments such as washing out or artificial creasing. The aged-look was adopted from classic jeanswear into streetwear and is now also often used with wool and cashmere fabrics for a variety of fashion purposes.
There are no limits to the creation of the aged look, so even more extreme forms are created, such as frayed foot ends or strong washouts and deliberate fabric damage with the help of stone washing (destroyed look).
Great side effect of the treatments: the fabric becomes softer!
