Yarn dyeing

Yarn dyeing is a dyeing process in which the yarn has already been dyed before the weaving process. This makes it possible to integrate different yarn colours, which gives the fabric a lively colour effect.

In most cases, yarn-dyed fabrics are produced in designs such as stripes or checks. In contrast to printed fabrics, the pattern is literally transferred to the back of the fabric so that it can also be used on both sides, depending on the weaving technique used.
