Many guys want to be like him, many women want to have him: dry and bitter with a refreshingly spicy character. "The King of Cocktails" has been discussed like no other since its listing in Bartender's Manual. How much gin and how much wormwood? Dry or sweet wormwood? What fits better, lemon or olive and then of course the mother of all questions: stirred or shaken?
We know the answer to three of the four questions and have thus taken the decision away from you. The ratio is right, dry is the new sweet and with us is stirred and not shaken. Only the choice of the garnish is left to you and you can follow your preference. But whether olive or lemon zest, we like the Martini cocktail classic from a pre-cooled Martiniglas.

Tasting Notes
Aroma: a playful blend of juniper with an idea of exotic fruits, notes of liquorice and a subtle hint of freshly ground pepper.
Taste: dry, tangy with sweetish hints, spicy on the palate with notes of violets and berries, a striking hint of gin, harmoniously surrounded by wormwood, which gives the mouth an elegant vinous character.
Finish: long and spicy, with a dual finish of juniper berries and cinnamon.
Overall: a lovely balance of gin and wormwood, with a refreshing, spicy character.

Contents: Gin, dry wormwood, orange bitter, 42.3% vol., lemon zest, lemon oil.

Sizes: 700 ml and 50 ml (test sizes = for 2 cocktails)

Preparation: Pour into a mixing glass filled with ice cubes, stir well and strain into a martini glass. Add a Zeste to the drink. To finish, moisten the cocktail once with the aroma atomizer.
