This Bootflex by Astorflex is part of the Special Edition Heritage and the perfect shoe for your everyday life. Thanks to the sole made of 100% natural rubber, the outstanding wearing comfort can be felt with every step. The high-quality suede of this Bootflex has been sanded at the heel and toe cap to create a used look. Like every Astorflex, this shoe has been made using the Stitch-Down method. For six generations, the Travenzoli family has been making boots in northern Italy that are produced in an environmentally friendly and resource-saving way. This model is also made from 100% organic materials.

Astorflex was founded at the beginning of the 19th century by the ancestors of Fabio Travenzoli. Today, he personally oversees the production and the responsible, transparent approach to the development and production of shoes according to the "Ideal" method (Outer Nath along the edge of the sole) The family business still produces the typical shoes with rubber soles in Tuscany. "For the upper shoe we use Italian leather, especially leather from master tanneries in Tuscany."

The lining and insoles are made of vegetable-tanned calfskin, obtained by soaking the leather in a mixture of water and powdered oak bark and mimosa, without using any dyes or colour additives.
This process is more beneficial to health, making the leather hypoallergenic and ensuring better sweat absorption for dry, odour-free feet. "Most of our soles are made of natural rubber, which is the coagulated latex of the rubber tree (Hevea brasilianis)."
The different parts of the shoe are joined together with water-based adhesives.
