Nubuk

Nubuck or velvet is suede leather that has been buffed on the grain side. The leather is roughened until it has a velvety surface, hence the term 'velvet'.

This treatment gives the leather a pleasant feel and increased breathability. However, it should be noted that the material is more sensitive to UV rays and stains.
